NOTES:

It has been six months since the last edition in October, but this issue was well worth the wait. Rather than the usual fare of a few large articles, this time R/T has done something a bit different. They have concentrated on the work of one of IPMS Canada's chapters.

De Havilland Scale Modelers is one of the newer chapters and consists of retired and current employees of deHavilland Canada (now Bombardier). Apparently they are also one of the most active as their work is not only superb, but quite varied.  So without further ado, here is what is in this issue.

1/20th BAR 005 F1 racer by Manny Rotsch

Warhammer Cold Elf Command Figure by Terry Cooper

Academy 1/72 Corsair IV by Joe Sheppard

RCD 1/35 Staghound I by Sandie Mc Rorie

Welsh Models 1/72 deHavilland Comet I by Derek Pennington

Italeri 1/72 M48A3 Patton by Wayne Bowman

Academy 1/72 Mustang IV by Iain Fraser

Hasegawa 1/32 Seafire IIc by Wayne Bowman

A superb selection of shorter articles that I found to be very well done and a great way to have a lot of diversity in one issue. This is something that I think worked very well and I'd encourage R/T to consider similar editions. As a parting note, I see that advertising has crept onto the back cover, something about which I have mixed feelings in a club magazine. I guess it was felt that the need to pay bills overshadowed color photos of models and that it wasn't a decision that came easily.
