NOTES:

The latest issue of R/T has a nice mix of articles.

First one is on modelling an Canadian Ferret Mk 1/1. Now as a non military vehicle person, I'd never heard of this but it looks like a pretty near armored car. The kit used is by Accurate Armor and well done by Don Dingwall, who had to overcome a number of obstacles in this one. Lots of photos including a number in color.

Next is a very nicely done Williams Bros. 1/72 C-46 in Canadian Pacific Airlines colors. Derek Pennington has put a lot of effort into this including some modifications from the kit, and it shows. This also has some color photos.

Finally, the cover model, Ryan Cameron's HMCS Grilse (ex-USS Burrfish), a Balao-class sub. Using the Scale Shipyard 1/96 Balao class hull as a start, Ryan has put an incredible amount of work into what has turned out to be an excellent model.

The issue also has some book, kit, and accessory reviews as well as some well done columns that always leaves one thinking about things. I especially liked Randy Lutz' comments on judging and while I'm not on the same level of things as is Randy, I found myself nodding my head in agreement even while laughing so much that it brought tears to my eyes!
