NOTES: |
This is the first R/T I can recall with any color in it, and while it is only on the cover, it is most welcome. The photos inside are also rather large, which is a nice touch, but tells me that R/T isn't getting enough input in terms of articles as usually one increases photo size in order to bulk out the edition. Of course, I could be totally wrong and it wouldn't be the first time! :o)
In this issue are the following articles:
Building a Spanish Civil War Bf-109B, which includes a number of good illustrations and correction ideas as well as a couple of cross-section profiles.
A guest editorial from the IPMSC National Director
Sid Arnold's 'Tank Talk'
GM of Canada 15 cwt truck article with lots of photos.
A build article on the Eduard 1/72 Albatros D.V
Part 2 of M3 Stuart details.
reviews and Randy Lutz's 'Props and Chocks'.
I found the Bf-109 article to me most interesting and helpful for building my next early 109 so this edition will get a lot of use from me! I won't go into the use of RLM 63 on this one as the 'proper' shade of this color is one that has sparked a lot of debate in recent months among builders of things German......
