NOTES: |
Once again, R/T overgoes a cover change. This is getting to be too much like the Post Office with the constant 'upgrades' to suit this reviewer, but it seems as if the change was deemed necessary by the powers to be. The old new one looked fine to me. This edition was delayed by about two months due to some sort of glitch in their database, but I've never been a stickler for timeliness when it comes to any club publications as they are done by volunteers.
This issue concentrates on quality vice quantity as the articles are a bit more involved than usual and there are fewer of them than the norm. Here is a look at what is inside:
The Honest John in Canadian Use. Lots of pics and drawings, but oddly, no info on the accuracy of the old Revell kit. It would have been a handy addition.
An in-depth build review of the Gavia Lysander (like, 8 pages worth), with nice, big pictures.
Another nice set of drawings of the M3 Lee tank showing interior and exterior details.
Once more, a semi-lengthy article on kitbashing a Spit XVIe using the Hasegawa and Heller kits in 1/72 (more nice, big pics).
Finally an I hate/love listing regarding modeling by Randy Lutz
As usual another issue that has articles of interest for all sorts of modelers.
