Another of Kiona Publishing's magazines is Sport Flyer Magazine. This is more like your standard radio control magazine in that it covers the full spectrum of the sport; not just electric power or gliders as previously reviewed in Quiet Flyer.

As you would expect, there are a number of interesting articles, headlined by a huge turbine powered Airbus A380. This is a fascinating story of building what has to be one of the largest R/C aircraft I've seen. The other feature is on building an electric powered Monocoupe. There is an especially nice article on duplicating the burned metal effect that one sees on the rear of jet aircraft like the F-100 and the technique could well apply to static models as well.

There are the usual how to articles on performing flight maneuvers, building various aircraft and on R/C shows and events that you'd expect. Reviews of new aircraft and accessories rounds out what is a most interesting magazine, especially for those of us who know little or nothing about radio-controlled flying.
