Issue #7 of Luftwaffe im Focus is now available and it was worth the brief delay while the editor was recuperating from an illness. As usual, there are superb images of a wide variety of aircraft as well as interesting stories about some of the pilots and crews.

Just going through the issue, here are a few items that I found particularly interesting. A Do-217J in the layered camo used on late war 110s; an Hs-126 in an interesting mottled winter camo; a color photo of one of the Papegei Staffel's 190Ds (first I've ever seen); photos and background of the 'stuka with a snake on it'; a section on 'aircraft that have crashed atop buildings', and a whole lot more.

I have found that LIF is one of the best books for clearing up myths and providing interesting photographs of Luftwaffe aircraft. It is a series that has become a real favorite of mine and it should be one of yours.
