Luftwaffe im Focus #6 continues with the excellent  format of previous issues by providing a potpourri of  articles on all aspects of the Luftwaffe. Their strong point is that LIF relies on previously unpublished photographs from private collections for their stories making much of what is between the covers truly unique in the publishing world.

This month's issue has articles on fighters, transport aircraft, recce birds as well as looks at various pilots and their aircraft.

Two of the articles that I found of most interest were those on the Ju-88P (which carried the huge Pak 40 L 75mm anti-tank gun) and the one on Hs-123 operations with the Do-217E.

Frankly, I look forward to each issue of Luftwaffe im Focus primarily because it is a fun read and adds some extra insight into the German side of the war experience.
