It has been December of last year since I saw a copy of Luftwaffe im Focus so I was quite pleased to see #11 arrive in my mail box. This one has a nice selection of stories and superb photos, some in color from period slides. I especially liked the image of a 109 flying over the mountains photographed from another 109 and it shows not only that the pitot tube is not straight to the line of flight, but that, at least on this one, it is painted red.

One of the major stories is of 'The unknown aircraft of Walter Nowotny. It includes superb photos and a couple of large profiles of two of his FW-190s, one in a non-standard camouflage that was widely used by JG 54. Another fine presentation is on the Ju-88A-17 aircraft of KG. 26 in Norway in the last year of the war. Again, with fine photos and profile artwork.

You'll also find He-115s, Bf-108s, 110s, 410s and more. There is delight in every page and if you've not had a chance to enjoy this superb publication, there is no better time than now.
