There are modelers who will not build a kit unless they have plans. They want to know just exactly where every bit and piece on the subject is located and how it looks in place.

For these folks, Kagero has its TopDrawings series. This particuilar edition covers the Pocket Battleship Graf Spee. As you would expect, most of the book consists of line drawings, and in fact, you are provided with two huge additional fold-outs that cover the ship. These are in 1/200 scale and so despite their size, can only handle about half the ship. These large additions offer upper and side views.

In the book, we have some detail drawings in various scales, though most of them are in 1/200 or larger. These provide details of the ship's boats, aircraft, catapult, defensive guns and other items. There are also some 3D full color artwork pieces in a smaller scale providing a five view of the ship to assist in color information.

A short history section is in the first page of the book and the rest are all drawings or artwork.

A superb collection for the dedicated modeler or those who just like plans.
