This is the second book of this series that I have seen and it is Kagero's first one that is a ship. The majority of the earlier editions have been aircraft and those have included a decal sheet. This one does not, of course, but it does include something rather special in terms of two huge foldout sheets that when brought together form some huge color artwork of the Bismark that would be quite suitable for display.

The rest of the book is something like their 3D books in format, though not in execution. The images in this book are all black and white drawings and are all very detailed. There are drawings of sections of the ship and there are detail drawings of things ranging from gun turrets to life rafts. The center of the book includes some very nicely drawn three views (both sides and top) in full color on one side of the pages and in line drawings on the other. This is in 1/620 scale.

Thanks to the detail of the drawings, this is a book that no modeler who has an interest in this ship should pass up. It makes for an outstanding reference for the Bismark and is one you should have on your shelves.
