Herman Göring Panzer Division in Sicily

The Factory Publishing Company's second title is on the Herman Göring Panzer division and their operations in Sicily. In line with their other book, this one is a visual feast of images from the archives. It not only includes their AFVs, but also some of the support vehicles and a few pieces of artillery as well. Additionally, a few photos of knocked out Allied tanks are tossed into the mix.

Probably one of the biggest attractions of these books are the very large photographs that are included. This does mean that there are fewer actual photos than you'll see in some books, but this is out-weighed by the quality and clarity of the images themselves. Of course, there are several pages of excellent color profiles based on these images in the center of the book. There is also a full rundown of the unit insignia used by this division in 1943.

All in all, it makes for a superb book that is not only a great resource for the historian, but one that should provide a great deal of inspiration for the armor builder and those who want accurate dioramas.
