Dataview has done a few of these books on patents and this is one of the more interesting. It is sectioned off by decade and starts in the 1960s. Not surprisingly, many of them are shuttle-like vehicles and, of course, the current space shuttle is included amongst them. There are also engines, launch and recovery systems and a plethora of other most interesting items located within the 264 pages of this CD.
Each patent has a particularly detailed explanation to go along with each one, as you might expect from these more complex vehicles. The most recent patent in the book is from mid 2005, making it quite current as well. It makes for some truly fascinating reading and is something that I can highly recommend to you.
You can get a downloadable PdF copy as well. A hard copy will be available later.
