Dataview is back at it, providing super reference material for those who are interested in a particular subject. This time it is the M-47 Patton Tank. Like previous CDs on these sorts of subjects, the source is the official Army tech manual on the tank. Unlike other CDs, this one concentrates on the illustrations and really, only on those that are full page and show salient features of the tank.

What this does, is reduce things from hundreds of pages down to a more manageable 52. For what most modeler's want, this is more than adequate and in fact, saves a lot of time hunting around for things. It would be nice to have the landscape pages copied onto the CD in that fashion as it saves having to spin things around with the somewhat slow Adobe tool bar. Other than that minor quibble, it is an excellent CD that surely will help those that love to add all that extra detail onto their projects.
