#6 in their closeup series is on the F-14D Tomcat. In line with their other Modeler's Close-ups, it is basically a series of highly detailed photos taken of the subject at an air show.

There are 61 pages total with all but one of them containing full page images in full color. The captions to the images are what make up the non-photo page.

As one might expect from show images, there is no real cockpit coverage aside from one image through the canopy and none of any upper fuselage detail. Neither of those are really as much of a draw-back as you'd think for there are plenty of internet and paper sources for cockpit information.

Overall, it is an excellent value for the money, especially if you get the download version. The images are superb and a real boon to modelers wanting that little bit extra detail.
