This is the third Modeler's Close-up book from Dataview Publishing and it is on the EA-6B Prowler. This book is similar to the one on the F-18 reviewed a bit back in that it relies on official USN Photos for the overall images and an air show bird for the close-up images.

The close-up shots are done as one image per page, providing more than enough detail. The USN shots are basically two per page and are very nicely chosen. There is no historical section and in fact, no write-up at all, making this a complete image book. Since the book is spiral bound it makes it easy to have handy when using it as a modeling reference.

As useful as the book it, there are times when I wonder what I'm looking at. It might be a nice idea to either caption the close-up images or provide a diagram to show where on the plane the image has been taken.
