A concept that was This is Concord's second volume on German artillery during WWII. In line with other books in this series, there is a brief description of the various pieces of artillery used. This ranges from the small 3.7cm anti-tank guns to the larger 8.8 and 12.8 cm pieces. It also includes some captured artillery of French, Polish and Russian origin as well as the various Nebelwerfer rocket launchers.

These books are pretty much photo books with clear and interesting photographs gleaned from a variety of sources. Much information is provided in the photo captions themselves and it's these photographs that gives so much inspiration to both modelers and enthusiasts alike. This is further enhanced by a center section that includes superbly drawn artwork of some of the pieces shown in the various photographs.

Though listed as 72 pages, my copy stopped at 56 and repeated pages 41-56. I can only hope that it is a one time glitch and not endemic of the full production run. Regardless, it is an excellent book on a subject that I know draws a lot of interest. One that I enjoyed reading and can highly recommend to you as well.
