One thing about Dataview is that they offer an eclectic range of products. This CD is the second in their Railroad Equipment Closeup series and consists of images taken at Steamtown, a railway museum and National Historical Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The CD is well organized into sections on Locomotives and Rolling Stock with a plethora of well done photographs of various interesting subjects. Locomotives run from the BigBoy, probably the largest steam locomotive ever built down to small switcher locomotives used to move stock around switching yards.
Rolling stock is rather varied as well but consists mostly of freight cars of some sort and cabooses (something that disappeared from railways about 25 years or so ago).
All of the photographs are very well done and large enough to show detail, something that railroad modelers will find quite useful.
In all, an excellent CD for the RR freak or those who just like trains. You can get yours at http://www.dataviewbooks.com/rr.html For a limited time, you can get Volume 1+2 for $11.95 + s/h
