To many, the big V-8, thundering dirt track racers, and oval racing is an American form of automobile racing. Yet this is not at all true for across the Pacific ocean, Australians have been enjoying this similar sport for a very long time. Though the names may be a tad different and the body styles on some of the classes of cars are not the same, the thrills and excitement of big time dirt track racing are identical.

On his first CD covering Australian motorsports, Graham Mison of Speed and Power Pix has chosen this form of speedway racing. Within this CD are 100 full color images of the cars that race on the dirt tracks of Australia. From the big sprint cars to modifieds and late model stockers, it is all here, including some vintage machines. These images are provided in three different image sizes  and there is a walk-around section showing the external bits and pieces of Steve Kinser's Quaker State Sprint car, an excellent reference for the modeler and enthusiast alike.

In addition to the fine images, there is a listing of what all the images are as well as information on the men who drive the cars. This is only the first of a series of titles on Australian racing with more on other subjects sure to come. A great screen saver as well and a CD that no fan of motorsports should be without.
