This latest CD from Aero Research is a special release to cover the very popular Stearman biplane. Built by the thousands before and during WWII, the Stearman trained tens of thousands of pilots and post war, allowed many to continue flying. They also found a niche as a cropduster, a role in which they are still being used.

This disc contains 195 images in 323 MB of disc space. There are images both in color and in black and white. Some are of wartime trainers, but the vast majority of images are of either warbirds, privately owned planes in custom paint schemes, and, of course, crop dusters. The latter probably has the greatest variety of planes with some having clipped wings, some having full cockpits, different engines and props and in various conditions.

The disc itself is arranged by serial number or registration number. The variety is huge and there is something in here for everyone. It is a great collection of images, something that the Stearman fan will undoubtedly find worthy and a great inspiration for modelers.

Thanks to Aero Research for the review CD.
