This latest CD from Aero Research does a first in terms of dedicating an entire CD to this particular aircraft, and by that I mean the DC-3/C-47, often called the Gooney Bird due to its long wings. This disc concentrates on those planes that are or were in civilian service. In other words, they have civil registration. This offering has 158 photos in 205 MB of disc space

The images are catalogued according to the registration number in alpha-numeric order so we have the first entry as 4W-ABX with Yemeni Airways and the last as ZS-PDG with South Africa's United Air. There are plane lovingly restored, those operating as airliners or cargo planes, those owned by private individuals, those that are derelict, some in the boneyard and others still in military colors with the registration numbers sprayed on them. Included are those run by government agencies like the Forest Service. The majority of the entries are from the US, Canada and Australia, but with a goodly mix from other places around the world. In all, a great CD for fans of this long-lived aircraft.ite plus for any warbird enthusiast.
