This latest CD from Aero Research continues with their fine series on past USN aircraft. This one is the third installment on CAG birds; those whose nose numbers typically end in 00.

Packed with 160 huge images, this title covers mostly attack planes and ASW types. By this, I mean there are a lot of Skyhawks, Intruders, Prowlers, and Vikings as well as a number of other types. Many of the images are of the full color light gull grey over white schemes with multiple colors somewhere on the tails. Others show the grey-down CAG birds that are devoid of any color at all, somthing that began to happen in the mid 1980s and continued for many years.  The majority of the images are very well done and are sourced from a variety of photographers. Each entry has as much information known about the slide as was available, including serial, location and date. The disc is broken down by unit in numeric order.

It all makes for an excellent disc that is sure to be much appreciated by those who have a fondness for CAG birds and especially those who like Skyhawks, Intruders and Vikings.
