This latest CD from Aero Research continues with their fine series on the Phabulous Phantom II. This is the fifth volume covering USAF F-4s and like the earlier ones, is full of goodies. These are full view ramp shots for the most part, along with some air to air images and several taken in revetments in Vietnam. Most are taken at various bases and some of them are air show images, so you have to deal with some civilians wandering around in those. Pretty much every camouflage scheme worn by the F-4 is included in this compendium. It also includes some interesting camouflage schemes and several markings configurations that I have not seen before.

There are 161 images covering 307 megabytes of disc space. Each image has all the information about the aircraft including date and place photographed if it was known. You will find that this disc has the aircraft listed by wing or group, which is how some people categorize units. I go by the squadron myself, so it is a bit different from what I am used to using, but it does get the information across. I found it interesting that several images were taken at events where I also took photos, and one batch, at George AFB, were taken under clouds where mine where photographed on the same day when the sun was out.

Like the other products of Aero Research, this one is a disc of eye candy that will be appreciated by modelers and fans of the aircraft alike. I am positive you will find to your liking.
