This latest CD from Aero Research continues with their fine series on the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, a plane that is still flying well after 50 years from the first flight of the prototype. Grumman A-6 Intruder and EA-6 Prowler. KA-6D tankers are also prominent. It includes images from pretty much every unit that flew the plane, both USN and USMC. They are also in every camouflage scheme worn by it, including some special schemes.

The photos are very nicely chosen and are generally full ramp shots taken from a variety of venues, from carrier decks to shows to operational bases and even some in flight images. As this is a Skyhawk collection, there were a considerable number of aggressor schemes and several images that look very much like they were taken by yours truly.

There are 167 images covering 320 megabytes of disc space. Each image has all the information about the aircraft including date and place photographed if it was known. You will find that this disc has the aircraft listed by squadron and also includes test units and Marine units.

Like the other products of Aero Research, this one is a disc of eye candy that will be appreciated by modelers and fans of the aircraft alike. I think it is one of their better collections, but I am biased as I like the A-4. I am positive you will find to your liking.
