This disc from Aero Research covers a subject that I find quite interesting and which is also something much enjoyed by modelers and enthusiasts as well. Though aggressor units have been greatly reduced in both the USN and USAF since the end of the cold war, there are still some around.
When one things of aggressor aircraft, one usually thinks about those whose task is to provide air to air combat training. There are also 'aggressors' who try to attack ground targets and ships, but for the most part, this disc does not include that.
What you will find is 155 images of A-4s, TA-4s, F-5s, T-38s, F-14s, F-16s, F-18s and F-21s with a few other types tossed in the mix. Each of the large images includes as much information on the image as is available such as the type, date, serial and place. One really nice thing is that for several of the schemes shown, you get both sides of the aircraft, a real boon for modelers. rieties and some nice C-54s in addition to some rather neat types like the Argus or Comet.
In all, it is another really nice photo disc from Aero Research and well worth picking up.
Here is a bonus image for you.
