A subject of continual fascination by both authors and readers alike is the myriad of interesting and sometimes fanciful projects undertaken by German industry during the 1933 to 1945 time period. These weapons projects became more and more and more incredible as the war progressed, with many of them on the cusp of operational use as the conflict came towards its inevitable end.

To some, many of these weapons are common knowledge, while to others they are going to be brand new. The book covers the full spectrum of projects, both completed and still on paper. It ranges from the nautical to armor to superguns to infantry weapons to aircraft, missiles and even chemical and nuclear projects.

The author has presented these systems with charts and graphs showing salient features of these weapons. This includes color profiles of those that never made it to the prototype stage and photos of other types. It includes performance figures as well to give the reader an idea of how these were expected to be used. All of this is provided in an easy to follow format that only adds to the interest and readability of this book.

part of a larger 'WWII Data Book' series, it is a book that I found to be particularly interesting due to its broad scope and one that I am sure you will find equally engrossing. Highly recommended.
