NOTES: |
One of the best SIGs (Special Interest Groups) is the WW2 Axis SIG. They are based in Australia and have an impressive membership roster including the artists Claes Sundin and Tom Tullis, whose profiles grace issues of their newsletter 'The Eagle's Nest'.
An example of their work is the July/August '99 edition (cover pictured at right) which includes kit previews, kit reviews, decal reviews, pilot profiles, camouflage articles as well as articles of interest to those who have an interest in the 'bad guys' of WW2.
Though it may appear that all interest in with the Luftwaffe, the SIG also includes Japan, Italy and other Axis powers. It is really a worthy group and the newsletter alone is worth the price of admission.
