This is issue #63 in Ampersand's Military Miniatures in Review (MMiR). There are nine articles in this edition, all covering what aircraft modelers call 'crawly things' and items related to ground borne military modeling.

It opens with a real deal article covering the Military Vehicle Preservation Association's 2014 event. This includes a ton of really great images of restored vehicles, most from WWII.

It then switches gears to WWI to begin the build articles, with the Tamiya Mark IV tank. Unless otherwise noted, all articles are in 1/35 scale.

To provide a nice comparison, Takom's Mk.IV is the next article.

Next is the AFV Club Israeli Sho't Kai Gimel from 1982. For those not in the know, this is basically an IDF Centurion, a tank of which AFV club has produced multiple versions.

A very neat diorama is next using the Italeri AB.40, this time converted to run on rails. A section of bridge is the highlight of the diorama and is superbly done.

We then move on to an AFV Club Sturmtiger, followed by a DES resin tractor trailer combination.

Moving up to 1/24 scale, we have a nicely done Asuka Zundapp KS 750 motorcycle with sidecar.

A Tasca Sherman Firefly IC is the next article. This is a vehicle operated by the Polish Army and the model has a long list of aftermarket included in the build.

The Trumpeter T-72 is the next in line and we end up with two figure articles. One is a look at what is new and the final article is on a nicely done 1/16 WWI German stormtrooper.

Add to these great articles an introductory look at what is new on the scene and it makes for a real feast of articles for the military modeler.
