This particular casing was often used in Vietnam for housing thermite bomblets. They were particularly effective and the Mark 36 casings were used in 1969 and 1970. They were carried on or in B-52s, A-1s and F-4s to name a few. When used on a TER (such as carried by the F-4), the tail would be offset by 30 degrees to clear the TER. This particular set contains parts for four bombs.
Molding on this one is nicely done with separate fins that will fitslot into grooves in the aft body section.
