NOTES: | Resin |
Next from Spectre Resins is the most used (or at least carried) nuclear weapon in the stockpile for a long time. This device was able to be carried by more aircraft than any other, ranging from the A-5A to the B-52 and just about everything in between. This was with the arsenal from 1961 to 1991 when it was retired. This weapon was also available to the RAF for use in V bombers and Canberras. Even Germany's F-104 fleet was capable of carrying the B43, as were the Starfighters of the Netherlands, Italy, Canada and Belgium.
This kit is a two piece body. Molding on this one is nicely done with separate fins that will slot into grooves in the aft body section. The instructions, aside from being interesting reading, offer color information and should make into an interesting display.
