NOTES: | Resin |
Spectre Resins has chosen the somewhat common B.57 nuclear weapon for their sixth bomb subject. This was America's smallest nuclear weapon and one that one might consider tactical rather than strategic. Its small size and low yield meant that it could be carried by just about anything in the inventory. Originally a depth bomb for the Navy, it was in widespread use until discarded by the Military in the same year they discarded me; 1993.
This kit is a two piece body. Molding on this one doesn't seem as crisp as on other bombs that Spectre resin has done. Perhaps it is the small size. Nothing major, but you'll have to do a bit of work on these. The instructions, aside from being interesting reading, offer color information and should make into an interesting display.
