Spectre Resins has chosen the Mk.41 nuclear weapon for their sixth bomb subject. This was America's largest yield nuclear weapon and was carried on B-47 as well as tall tail B-52s. It was not used with the B-52G/H. Yield was variable depending on if the bomb was to be used 'clean' or 'dirty', with the 'dirty' version providing the greatest yield. As with all US bombs, the warhead was also used in missiles.
This kit is a two piece body. The instructions, aside from being interesting reading, offer color information and should make into an interesting display.
