Spectre Resins 1/72 B28RI Nuclear Bombs

Here is an interesting accessory for those who like to model bombers. Spectre Resins has decided to produce a number of American Nuclear bombs for those who think their models need something with a bit more punch. The first offering is the B-28RI device, a smallish weapon that was built in several variants. The RI version was one of the last ones done and this particular bomb is applicable to fit in B-47 and B-52 aircraft. Other versions could be carried externally by other aircraft.

The molding on these bombs is, as you can see, superb. It is the grey resin that seems to be in vogue. Minimal clean up is needed as Spectre Resin has already cut most of the pour stub from the rear of the bomb. A complete history and painting guide is also provided for your use. For those of you who like measurements, and because I just happen to have a ruler nearby, these bombs are a bit under two inches in length, still rather large, even in 1/72 scale.
