It has been over a year since Quick Wheel has sent in review items. Then it was to announce their wheel mask sets. Now they have sent a sample of their latest set of resin wheels with masks. This is for the front wheels of the SdKfz 251. They do not specify the kit, but I'm thinking Dragon.
The set includes two superbly cast front wheels (Dunlop pattern) along with separate hubs. There is also a set of their unique wheel masks to use for these finely done wheels. There are no instructions per se, but several images of the wheels and masks.
Just to refresh your memory, the tire/wheel combination fits snugly into the provided opening in the back and butts right up against the blue flexible plastic material. It is here that the masking takes place. With the tire already painted, one simply sprays on the wheel color, then pulls the tire/wheel out and that is it. Each mask does both wheels at one time.
This is a nice addition to their line and something you really should
look into.
