PJ Production is catching up on things in the bang seat department with this new one in 1/48 scale. No better place to begin that the very popular Martin Baker Mk.4. These seats were used in a bunch of aircraft with a bewildering number of sub-designations. I have no clue what all those additional designations mean, but it probably has something to do with how the seat is mounted in the aircraft as they all look pretty much the same from the outside.
PJ Production's seat is nicely molded with belts in place. A form is provided so you can make the pull harness from wire. The card in the with the seats show a painted seat and note that this seat was used on the Lightning, Alpha Jet, Canberra, Hunter and Vampire. As the seat is the most noticeable thing in a jet model, you can now toss those somewhat generic kit seats and replace them with something more detailed.
