Noy's Miniatures Vietnam displays with backdrops
This latest set continues Noy's Miniatures' line of bases with a backdrop. This particular set is from the Vietnam war and not only includes a standard base, but also a backdrop that has a section of revetment as well as a CH-47 flying off towards the mountains in the distance. All of the various scales are the same save for the size of the bases and backdrops.
Typical of Noy's bases, the subject is printed on thick, photo quality paper and looks very much like the real thing.
This set is available in three scales; 1/144, 1/72 and 1/48. Only the first two were sent in for review. The 1/144 base and backdrop are shown to the right.
Below I have the the 1/72 base set up with an appropriate Vietnam era Phantom.
Here are the stats on the three sizes:
1/144 14.8cm/5.82 in by 10.5cm/4.13 in.
1/72 31cm/12.2 in by 22 cm/8.66 in
1/48 39.5 cm/15.5 in by 28cm/11.02 in
