Noy's Miniatures German Plank Hardstands
Next in their line of superb photo quality tarmac prints is this one that duplicates the plank hardstands often used by the Luftwaffe in either undeveloped areas or areas where mud was a real issue. You would often find these in Norway or on the Eastern Front. In fact, in Norway, often the runways were the same plank material.
These photo realistic bases include some off areas as well as the usual markers. Like all of Noy's Miniatures bases, it is printed on high quality thick paper and based on photos of various Luftwaffe hardstand areas to ensure the highest fidelity.
There are three sizes available, one in all three of the more popular scales; 1/144, 1/72 and 1/48.
The 1/144 scale base shown to the right is perfect for the smaller scale. This base measures 5.8 x 4.1 inches (14.8 x 10.5 cm). It is shown with an Eduard Bf-109F. Price is $3.60 plus shipping
This next one is the 1/72 base. It is larger of course at 12.2 x 8.66 inches (31 x 22 cm). It is shown with a Fine Molds Bf-109F.
The third base is 1/48 scale and the largest of the lot. It is 15.6 x 11 inches (39.5 x 28 cm) and will fit a variety of 1/48 aircraft such as the Hasegawa Bf-109F.
