This particular pair are for some aircraft for which hollowing exhaust are particularly tricky. The first set is for the A-1 Skyraider and is designed for the Tamiya kit. It includes a resin plug into which the various exhaust are placed. This is then lined up and glued onto the firewall of the kit. The other are some 'ejector' style exhaust for the Hasegawa J2M Jack. There are two styles; with or without the small branching bit as shown on the two loose exhaust. These are simply glued to the inside of the cowling. Both include a placement guide so that you'll have no trouble getting them right.

As always, a super set of  exhausts that will definitely look much better than the plastic ones that came with the kit.
