This is currently the oldest F-14 operating with NSAWC. Like all but two of their F-14s, it wears the standard tactical gray paint scheme.

This Tomcat is one of only two NSAWC F-14s that are camouflaged. In this case it is painted in a psuedo-Iranian Air Force scheme. I believe that Hasagawa released their 72nd Tomcat kit with markings for this a/c at one time. Twobobs Aviation Graphics will be releasing a decal sheet with these markings in 48th scale (and maybe even 32nd!) soon. A similar scheme was once worn by a Top Gun Tomcat at Miramar, complete with full Iranian national insignia, but that was a different aircraft.

I have never seen this a/c, however there is a picture of it the book "Adversary" by Llinares & Lloyd. It is, or at least was, in the tactical gray scheme.
