The instruction sheet, unfolded is an A3 size with profiles of all
different aircraft on one side, including a brief history of the planes
depicted. It’s interesting to see that the F-4E in Korean paint is a standard
SEA scheme, whereas the RF-4C is in Hill Grey II scheme.
The reverse side of the instructions show the top and bottom views of
the aircraft for painting purposes as well as a comprehensive colour guide,
depicting the colours to be used in Federal Standard numbers, Humbrol and Model
master. Also included is a small diagram of the weapon stations of the F-4
Phantom and load outs.
The decals themselves are very finely printed. The stencilling can be
easily read (even without glasses) and are in register. The “slime lights” (anti
collision lights) will have to come from the decal sheet provided by the kit
manufacturer, as they are not included on this sheet.
This sheet is a must for all Phantom Phanatics (me being one of them)
and is available form most online retailers and is therefore highly
recommended.
My thanks goes to Diego at Hi Decal line for supplying me with this
decal sheet.
Happy
modeling.
