Matterhorn Circle Decals MC48014: Mirage IIS/RS (early)

Schneider in MC-ONE from Switzerland has updated his
catalog decals for the Dassault Mirage delta fighters. Kinetic 1/48 scale kit is
the target. The kit IIIE/O/R/RD/EE/EA version have options parts not used.
Checking them, t
he
specifics Swiss Mirage are included! In inventory Mirage IIIS (fighter) and
IIIRS (recon fighter) can be modeled. This sheet cover the beginning period. The
Mirage IIIS and RS were unpainted, “metal-natural”. This sheet include the
transition and paint test made by Swiss air force (2 grey tone). By tradition,
the last airplane built got a painting. The mirage IIIS was “Geronino”.
7 MIIIS coded in « J »(J for Jager) are
displayed in profiles for the 15 &16 squadrons and 1 MIIIR coded in « R » (R for
Recon) can be modelling.
The decals sheets are first class. Very
well printed (by Cartograf) and fine. In bonus, the red « flamme » area on
intakes for warning are provided in a blue-mask for those who would rather paint
them.
As usually,
the instructions are clear, in full color and show details that will relate to
specific aircraft. A full stencil suite is also included.
