The C-5 is still the largest cargo aircraft operated b the US Air Force, & with no replacement anywhere in site, it will be for decades to come.

This set is one of three for the 1/72nd Anigrand C-5A/B kit.  It features all the same artwork found on their 1/144 C-5 sheets, scaled up to 1/72nd.  This sheet covers three Air Force Reserve Command wings based in Texas, Ohio, & Massachusetts.

The instructions have directions on using DRAWs “Digital Silk” decals, which should be read before using the sheet.

The decal sheet measures about 10x16, & comes with a near complete set of stenciling, only missing some of the warning striping (APU, wing walks). A dedicated C-5 data & stripe sheet is available from DRAW. The printing is very clear, & the lettering in the warning decals are very legible.

The instructions lists the tail numbers for the aircraft assigned to each unit at the time.  The decal sheet has individual number decals to replicate the tail numbers for the listed aircraft.

Since it is possible to build 66 different aircraft from this sheet, checking reference photos is the order of the day.

If you’ve made the plunge & bought the kit, these decals are all that’s required to make into a modern day Galaxy.
