Published in the now familiar format of A4 portrait and on high quality paper, it contains the following articles in its 50 pages.
Comment on this particular magazine not only is it improving with each edition. The article on trees is showing new and innovative ways of making accessories leaves in scale and using real leaves. If I read it right: it uses Hypodermic needles with the ends crimped to form the shape of the leaf and then by pushing the needle into the real leaf over a tiny vein it cuts out the shape. The author is to be congratulated on such a simple and very straightforward way to replicate leaves.
The articles on the KV8 and MAZ 537 are of particular interest to me and the draughtsmanship of the plans are outstanding and are works of art in there own right.
If you use the plans and the information in Tankograd Gazette 3 -2000 by Jochen Vollert, a truly magnificent scratchbuilt model can be made of the MAZ 537.
The MIG 27 plans are of a similar standard and I can honestly say that we are lagging in the west for quality plans like these.
If it were not for M Hobby we certainly would be still in the dark about many Russian Tanks and Aircraft.
Not only are the authors to be congratulated but also the editor Alexander for publishing these for our pleasure.
Very highly recommend go out and buy your copy now and add it to your reference self today.
