The edition under review is No 10, published in their usual format of A4 and on very good high quality gloss paper, - Price is 5.95 Euros or £4-00 every two months.

It has in its 50 pages the following articles. M12 Kit in 1/35 scale by Academy. A Sdkfz 8 in 1/35 by DES kits and a Scheinwefer 37 searchlight also by DES. A diorama in 1/72 scale with the following kits S35 1/72 by Heller, S35 by ALBY and H39 also by ALBY. A 1/35 scale Dragon Pz III. A round up and examples of the models at Saumur Model 2000 show. A 1/35 scale model of the ACG1 by ALBY. Lastly in 1/35 scale a diorama of Lead Sled Bofors 40mm with Lead Sled Bedford QL and conversion by Plus Models.

In the short time that this magazine has been produce it has come on in leaps and bounds. Early on it took a gamble and introduced an English translation at first as a pull out now as part of the magazine.

The quality of the articles both in the writing and photographs is superb, it also uses original wartime photographs or if possible ones of restored or museum examples to enhance the articles.

I was lucky enough to be able to speak to the editor via the very beautiful Clare who acted as translator. I now know why the photographs are of such stunning quality as they are all taken in a studio in controlled conditions, something that the English magazines must start to do.

If I had to pick out a favourite of all the articles in this edition it has to be Veron 1944, by Pascal Roquigny has all the qualities to bring to life a really superb masterpiece in miniature.

The composition and the total believability of the story, it is kept simple yet portrays the reality captured on wartime photographs. Had a black and white photograph been taken of the diorama it would be hard to tell fact from fiction.

This one article is worth the price of the magazine alone, well done.

In the next few months there will I am sure be lots more photographs of restored vehicles used in conjunction with the articles. As the editorial team had a very enjoyable working holiday at Beltring 2000 show, I look forward to seeing them next at IPMS 2000 show in October.
