NOTES:

Text in Russian

The book is printed in A4 Portrait format on medium quality paper, it has 54 pages with black and white photographs scale plans and drawings, and no scale is given.

It has 58 medium quality photographs in black and white. Along with 17 sets of plans or drawings of the various trucks also command cars and armoured cars produced.

It covers the following Gaz A truck series, Gaz A-4 staff cars, Gaz -M-1 Staff cars,

Gaz-61 staff cars, Gaz MM, Gaz fire Engine, Gaz BM, BA-20 series, BA-64, BA-10.

The book has great potential for scratch builders like myself but is let down by - Firstly being published in Russian. Secondly on not very good paper and this affects the quality of the photographs. Thirdly the photographs could have been enlarged to show more detail. Lastly by not having a constant scale for the plans and drawings.

If the book is republished I do hope that it will be in English as it will then form a very important part of Russian Military History and be widely available to the rest of the world. Not just to a few like myself.

So if you are into Russian trucks then go out and buy a copy before they sell out.

I know I will be using it on several future projects.

Price in UK not known as I ordered my copy via the Internet for $6-00 plus p&p.
