The occasion was too beautiful to see the 1st Tiger Meet in the USA, without
wanting to greet it brightly. Not only restricted itself with the event, and to
recall to the world that "the tiger fighting spirit" had been created well in
Europe in the 60',the famous Daco manufacturer leans on TIGER MEET 2001(40th
anniversary) in "KéBi" (Kleine Brogel Belgium AB) with 79 color pages(186
photographs) and TM in Americas in the 41 last pages(67 photos). That's a
rainbow of color which should surprise some of us, and lead the others in the
idea to model one of it one day with the dilemma to choose the dress!
For Europe, we are entitled to the German TORNADO,Belgian and Dutch F-16 ,Mirage F1 and 2000 French AF (cock-a-doodle-doo, it is the winner of this TM 2001 with 1/12 Cambrai), ALPHA Jet from Portugal, English Aerospatiale PUMA chopper, F15E, KC-135 from USAFE. I notice the Swiss, Turkish, Norwegian, and Czech (MIL-24Hind TM"2002" winner!) with planes and helos without special scheme, to recall that Tiger meet is prior an inter-Allied exercise, ended with a public meeting. This is a true photo report which we discover certainly with beautiful static pics of the planes, but also actions on the ground, takeoffs, landings and in flight of each participant. You'll see some extremely useful pics taken at various phases of painting of the planes.
For the USA, it was logical to find F-15,F-16(one, superbly striped grey/black), and the winner Canadian F-18. Some blazing European scheme will be soon available in decals, which lead me to advice you to buy this book. A real MUST- for your future diorama.
Hotly recommended.
