NOTES: |
Aircraft # 176 |
Even if you have Martin Pegg’s mighty tome on this aircraft, published by Classic Publications, I would still recommend this latest offering from Squadron Signal.
The format is the standard landscape softback book. The fifty pages contain minimal text, loads of good photographs (many new), 3 views & diagrams, coupled with 10 colour side views in the centrefold. In addition, the front & rear covers illustrate two Luftwaffe & one Rumanian aircraft. The photographs are all very well reproduced & will be of great assistance to modellers of this aircraft. I was especially interested to see a photograph of W.Nr 162053, a B-3 with the 75mm cannon actually in operational service.
As a guide to the Hs129 & an incentive to build one or more models of this aircraft, it comes highly recommended.
