at sea has long been a fascinating subject, and this book/model crosses the
lines with a very easy to read, extremely informative historical section, as
well as pages of very well printed out card models that you can make.
The
entire development of warships is detailed in the book, with an interesting
timeline printed across the top so you can follow the changes that were made as
humans became better and better at thinking of ways to dominate the seas.
This version includes card models of the Bismark, HMS Victory, USS Alabama, a
Roman Trireme (shown below), and the USS Nimitz.
The
stock is of very nice thick paper, in a loose ring binder.
The fascination of mankind with the water is astounding, and rarely do you come
across a user-friendly book packed with this much information and three
dimensional card models.
If you haven’t given card models a try yet, do yourself a big favour and pick
