  The A-1 Skyraider was the successor to the famed Dauntless dive bomber of WW 2 fame. Though it arrived too late to participate during that war it served on through the Korean War and even into the Vietnam war were is proved to be valuable in support of the forward air control operations.  This walk-around book has a number of pictures of the Skyraider from the original prototypes to the last ones flying. There is coverage of all the different variations that that she operated. The Airborne Early Warning AEW variations are also covered with interior details that show the tremendous capacity of this aircraft.   Also included are line drawings that show a typical A-1, with specifications listed as well.   

The close up views of the aircraft are what really make this book a valuable asset to the modeler. There are camera shots of every nook and cranny on the aircraft that will leave the modeler with all kinds of super-detailing options. Note the cockpit detail views below for an example.  The are color profiles of several of the aircraft that operated such as the AEW variations, some of the aircraft used in South East Asia are shown on the other sheet, including those flying for the air forces South Vietnam.
